Rewild.Earth did the technology transfer in collaboration with Sahara Sahel Foods and Goni Boukar, University of Diffa / ONG Waraka.

Google earth picture of the Field Station after 25 years of researching the direct seeding of Wild Perennial plants. The only input was seeds. No irrigation, fertilizer (organic or non-organic) or pesticide was used in a 225mm rainfall area with 45°C for 3 months and no rain for 8 months.

Since the 1900s, some 75 percent of plant genetic diversity has been lost as farmers worldwide have left their multiple local varieties and landraces for genetically uniform, high-yielding varieties.
